Sunset Summit Apartments

I’ve been dealing with severe noise issues at Sunset Summit since moving in on May 2nd that have made it nearly impossible to work from home, relax, or have guests over. I submitted a formal request to transfer units or break my lease 25 days ago, immediately completed the form they provided, and was assured options were available. Since then, I’ve received no follow-up and no action has been taken.

This situation has had a serious impact on my mental health and day-to-day life. I’ve now begun... pursuing legal and tenant advocacy options because I’ve been left with no choice. I’m posting this review in hopes of finally being taken seriously.

Sunset Summits is the best apartment I’ve ever had. The staff is friendly and responsive, the views are amazing, the grounds are very clean and quiet. We love the big windows and high ceilings. We can’t recommend it enough!

I have lived here for two years and recently renewed my leasing for another year. The admin team maintains the units in pristine conditions. Mr Leopoldo (Polo) is amazing, always finding the best way to promptly assist all residents with our service requests. Thank you Mr Polo for the great work that you always do for all the residents! He is a great asset to the company and a fantastic team member. The location of this community is very convenient as is only 10 min from downtown Portland... but have a very serene living ambience, and the view from my apartment is beautiful, breathtaking!. Just moved in and can say the girls in the office were very nice, which made for a smooth transition. Head of maintenance, Polo, was extremely helpful and the grounds are kept really well. Overall a good experience.

Constant construction noise, constant paint smells, constant blocked access due to construction -- you are living in a construction site and there seems to be no end in sight
