After six years living at The Girard and extolling its virtues (amazing skyline, location, quality finishes, professional staff, great closets, fine amenities) I find myself recuperating from a planned surgery and an accident that put me out of commission for months during the healing process. It took this horrid confluence of incidents to showcase to me the wonderful accessibility of my unit including door sizes, flooring, space that allows a wheelchair to navigate, island that lets me prepare... , cook, pivot and serve with minimal movement: a winner in all respects!
