Westminster Arch Apartments

The Westminster is the best building I’ve lived in yet! The building could not be safer, or have kinder staff. Beyond that, the common areas are always spotless, including the washer dryers that are on each floor!! The gym is such a huge plus, everything you could need. My studio apartment is huge, with a walk in closet, and great separation throughout, doesn’t even feel like a studio. The neighborhood is just perfect and having both Giant and TJs at a stones throw away, amazing. Not to mention... my commute to 30th st couldn’t be easier, 10 mins door to door. I have been a very satisfied resident here since 2019 and would highly recommend this community. The property manager and maintenance staff are truly exceptional—they are incredibly friendly, helpful, and feel like family. They respond to and resolve any apartment issues quickly and efficiently. The apartments themselves are comfortable and have been nicely renovated. While a small amenity, the on-site gym is fantastic for getting in both cardio and resistance training. Furthermore, the location... is excellent: close to major supermarket chains, the Schuylkill River Trail, and 30th Street Station. My partner and I have lived at Westminster Arch for over 2 years now and we love it! Our studio apartment is spacious and well laid-out, competitively priced, and very clean and modern in its finishes. The building is very well-kept and clean, and the recent renovations to the lobby and addition of the gym and mailroom are a big plus. We have never had a package stolen/lost here. The neighborhood is pretty quiet and residential, even with a very large, very new grocery store right next door.... Perhaps most importantly, the building team is great—very communicative and friendly, with maintenance requests being addressed quickly and efficiently (even same-day at times) by a dedicated in-house team. We would absolutely recommend this building to anyone looking in the area—we have zero regrets about choosing Westminster! Lee mas

This has been an amazing place to live! I’m going on my 10th year in the building now, the first two in a studio and then into a 1BR. All floorpans offer a great amount of space for the price and get lots of light. There have been renovations and improvements in the past year that have made this an even better place to live, like the common areas, private courtyard, and first-floor gym. The staff are always so friendly and helpful, responding to requests quickly (even silly small ones like... replacing an oven light or borrowing a bucket). Tenants are quiet and keep to themselves, and the neighborhood is quiet as well, as it’s tucked in a corner that doesn’t get much traffic unless you’re going to the grocery store or live in the area. When I initially read reviews of Westminster Arch back in 2019, there was someone who called it a hidden gem, and I’ve found that to be the case in the last 6 years. Management has been very accommodating, rent is reasonable, and you’re always warmly welcomed by the amazing staff.

I mention the reasonable rent, since this location is truly something. Across the street from a massive Giant supermarket, a couple of blocks away from Trader Joe’s, and not much farther if you want to shop at Whole... Foods, Target, or the plethora of other stores. Ten minutes or less to 30th Street Station where you can take SEPTA to the airport, or anywhere else locally. Or, you can take the Amtrak to NYC or somewhere farther. The location is also right next to the museum district, including (but not limited to) the Franklin Institute, Rodin, the new Calder Gardens, and of course the Art Museum. Or, take a stroll along the Schuylkill River Trail where you’ll find tons of runners and bikers, especially during nice days. The neighborhood itself is also very residential, which helps minimize the noise of the city. But if you’re looking to go out, everything is nearby. You really get the best of two worlds.

While I’ve mostly talked about the location, it wouldn’t be the same without the staff / management. Everyone is friendly, responsive, respective, and willing to help out. One other great thing is that this building used to be a warehouse long ago, and when it was being converted to apartments, a choice was made to keep empty space between floors, which makes it so that you never hear upstairs / downstairs neighbors.
