Enforcement Focused Policies Affecting Livability I really enjoyed living here when I first moved in. At that time, the community felt peaceful, and the management team was welcoming and helpful.
Since then, my living conditions have changed. I now experience frequent disturbances from my upstairs neighbors during overnight and early-morning hours, regularly being woken around 4:40 a.m., 5:50 a.m., and 6:30 a.m., along with other disruptive noises.
Since the transition to a new management... company, there has been a noticeable shift in the community environment, and the overall approach has felt more aggressive in tone. Some maintenance requests have required additional follow-up, and certain quality-of-life concerns have been more difficult to resolve, which does not align with expectations for a community positioned as luxury at this rent level.
Communication has increasingly emphasized new policy enforcement and potential fines, particularly related to breezeway use and trash can timing. Residents were required to remove bicycles from breezeways due to stated fire-safety concerns, which in my case required moving my bike upstairs and effectively limited its use due to a back injury. The available bike racks are outdoors, far away, exposed to the elements, and limited in number.
At the same time, other issues that more directly affect daily livability including unattended barking dogs, dog waste in common areas, and the unreliability of the valet trash service (residents are required to pay for) could benefit from more consistent attention.
Overall, clearer communication, a friendlier and more balanced approach, and consistent follow-through on resident concerns would improve the resident experience allowing us to feel more valued as tenants.
