Patriots Way At The Beach

This property is excellent. I just moved here and feel very comfortable. Maintenance is also good. It is also a gated complex which makes me feel very safe. I recommend this complex to anyone.

We were one of the first to move into these apartments. We were promised a gated complex. One year after renting...there is no gate. The office manager had her dog running all over and several times was almost hit by a car. We were accused of not curbing our dog as were several others in the building. If they looked At the camera, the answer was right there. Smoke alarms go off if you heat the oven. The walls are only primed and not painted. If you wipe your hands on the wall..... .the paint comes off. The floors are not hard wood but laminated. The neighborhood overall is not safe. Shopping carts and trash litter the stream behind the apartments. The door to the side needs repaired. Everyone in the area can use the pool and you don’t know the people or where they come from. After looking at many apartments I rented a 2 br,2b apartment in a new complex at Patriots Way 1511 Ciastal Lane, Myrtle Beach, SC, 29577. I have been very happy with the decision. The staff showed genuine appreciation in my interest in the apartment and were very helpful in the application process. The rent is reasonable and the deposit low. It is a very clean, quiet neighborhood centrally located to many attractions, especially the beach. Really glad I found it.

The apartments are small, but a good size for a small family. The "Master" Bathroom is extremely smaller than the open bathroom, the sink counters are small. The Bedrooms are equally the same size and nicely fit a king size bed. The "Master" closet is a nice walk in with shelves, the closet in the second room is small but holds a lot. Kitchen space is small and if you're lucky enough to buy a washer and dryer it makes the kitchen feel smaller, I'd also make sure you buy new hook ups for them.... There is not a lot of room for food storage and dish space and the counters don't hold a lot of appliances. The fridge and dishwasher they provide are old and well worn, but work fine, I'd suggest cleaning them before you use them. Management is friendly and nice, here every day of the week and easy to get a hold of. The neighbors are quiet, friendly and all keep to themselves, the ones that are out and about tend to be friendly and helpful. Pest control comes the first Thursday of the month, so if you have dogs be warned of that. The rent is a little overpriced for what you get, and seems to be going up, but overall it's a good place.
