Management Disregards Staff and Potential Residents
I had a tour scheduled for June 24th at 1:00 PM. Upon arrival with my two young children, I was greeted by a new hire whose name I unfortunately did not catch, but I won’t forget the experience she provided. Despite it being her first day, she was professional, kind, and attentive. She interacted with my children, asked thoughtful questions about what I was looking for, and did her best to provide a positive experience.
Unfortunately, the assistant manager on site made no effort to acknowledge... or assist me. She did not greet me, ask for ID, or offer any information — only stated I could tour a one-bedroom and handed the new hire a key, saying she didn’t know if it would even work. We were then sent walking in the South Carolina heat (with a heat index warning in effect) to an apartment with a key that did not work.
I want to emphasize that the new hire was not at fault. She was professional and kind, and I made sure she knew that. But overall, this was my first impression of the community, and sadly, it will be my last. I will not return for another tour and will be looking elsewhere.
