MAA Kirby Station

I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed my stay at Kirby Station. From the AMAZING office staff (?Beth, Shameka, Rashmi *sorry for spelling) to the peaceful grounds and neighbors. If I didn't have to relocate, Kirby Station would definitely still be home.

If you want your car to get broken into 5 times in a year, this is the place for you!! They have terrible security and while they will act like they are going to get tougher with security, they will not. The most security I have ever seen is one person driving around in the lot two times in one night- and that was the day after an armed robbery on my street. It is not well lit at night and there are break-ins each week. I would not recommend living here to anyone!!!!

The staff is super friendly since day 1 and we have been here for two years. They are always quick to respond to maintenance requests and even the smallest of issues you may experience. When it comes time to renew your lease, they are efficient and will strive to work with you if the rent increase isn't something you can feasibly handle. This last renewal the company that owns Kirby Station, MAA, wanted a $70 increase per month. Beth at Kirby Station worked with us to get only an $11 dollar... increase and arranged to have some carpet damage caused by our puppy FOR FREE. Everyone in the Kirby Station office is amazing: David, Beth, Robert, Chelsey, and all the maintenance guys rock! They always remember our names and our somewhat "destructive" puppy's name. Will stay here for a while until we are ready to buy a house. Only cons: when it rains here the sidewalks flood and not every apartment has washer dryer hookups (like ours). But that by NO MEANS is a deal breaker for this place. LOVE KIRBY STATION! Lee mas

I lived in a townhome here for around a year. Staff is friendly and professional. The buildings are old but they keep them in good condition. I did have to spray like 10 wasp nests over the summer but other than that no big problems with bugs. The neiborhood is located in a pretty safe area for Memphis and the whole place is really well lit at night. Overall it was a positive experience.

I've lived at Kirby for over 3 yrs. now. A couple of days ago I submitted 2 maintenance requests online 1) the exhaust fan in my downstairs BR had burned-out and 2) the gutter above my door was bent, causing water to pour down the awning over my front door like a waterfall. Within 24-hrs. both issues were solved. Not only did they fix the gutter while it was raining and repair the fan, but they also made some small improvements like replacing my door knob. Above & beyond!
