A dead tree from my apartment complex fell on my car during a calm morning — no storms, no wind, just a decaying tree that should have been dealt previously. The damage was so severe that I’ll be without a car for over five weeks, and it’s significantly impacted my job and day-to-day life.
Despite reaching out multiple times, I’ve received little communication from management about what their insurance is doing or what plans (if any) they have to address the other dead trees on the property.... It’s been beyond frustrating trying to get answers or even basic acknowledgment.
If this happens again, it will be entirely due to negligence.
