Skyview Flats

Management changed. The new staff is rude. My dryer went out at the ends of November and when I submitted my request, it wasn't even looked at until December. The dryer was fixed until Feb. Instead of being understanding or offering some sort of sympathy, Terri said it was the residents loading it too heavy. After attempting to fix my dryer. They finally changed my washer/dryer unit completely then that one failed too so they fixed the new one. The new one (taken from another unit) is noisy and... she said "you're not going to complain about a little noise right?" My bathroom ceiling had a leak since November. Maint came over and said there's nothing there. Fast forward to April, there was a leak and they finally fixed it. I asked for a corporate contact so I can speak on several issues and it has been a couple days, no word on corporate. They DONT like kids and that could be the neighbors complaining so I'm sure it's not all the management. They would play ball in front of the parking lots but they advised for our kids to enjoy the pond with a walking trail. A WEEK LATER, they go put DUCKS back there. Kids are kids, they will be curious and attracted to those animals. Now we are being harassed because our kids are "bothering" the ducks. But like Courtney the assistant manager said "just take them to the park." I went in the office to talk to Courtney and I do have that recorded. She couldn't take a hard conversation because I used cuss words. She called the clown courtesy officer that by the way doesn't even respond to our calls about people beating each other upstairs. Oh and you can't have a second car! They forced me to get a $150 garage that I have to walk all the way back to. SMH. On top of that 9-15k to get out of my lease. This property is a joke. Lee mas

This place is horrible through and through. Do yourself a favor, and don’t move here.
There are frogs that you can hear all night. Spiders everywhere. Management only cares when you write a bad review. Save yourself the trouble and find someplace else. Honestly, it can’t get worse.

I've been living at Skyview Flats for about six months, and I've noticed several positive changes since moving in. When I arrived, a new management team had just taken over, and they’ve been fantastic from day one. I’d heard some horror stories about the previous team, but this group has been responsive and attentive to residents' needs.

One concern I initially had was the presence of bugs, which I had read about in some reviews. However, the management offers weekly interior and exterior pest... control upon request. After having my apartment sprayed consistently for a month, I haven’t had any issues.

Recently, a water leak from my neighbor's unit caused flooding in my apartment. Given Houston’s climate, I was worried about mold, but the management was quick to act. Within 24 hours, they had an industrial dehumidifier delivered, and within three days, contractors were assessing the necessary repairs. Within a week and a half, the affected areas were fully demoed, dried out, and repaired. Rather than downplaying the issue, they took proactive steps to ensure mold wouldn’t be a concern, and they kept me updated throughout the process.

The only hiccup I experienced when I moved in was that maintenance occasionally entered without calling ahead, which was a bit concerning since I have a dog. After speaking with management, they’ve made sure to call ahead before any visits to ensure both my dog and their staff are safe.

Overall, the management here is approachable and genuinely cares about tenants’ well-being. If you move here and have a problem, I’d recommend sitting down with them to discuss solutions—they really do follow through. I love living at Skyview Flats and highly recommend it! Lee mas

Skyview Flats is a beautiful community. I’m glad they are pet friendly and even better that they don’t have breed restrictions! Mackenzie was welcoming, kind, and helped us pick which floorplan meets our needs best. She showed us around and made us feel like we were going to make the right decision making this community our new home.! Very excited for 2025!

I like it here, currently living here, but some complaints. I have multiple bugs coming in my house like ants, fly's, crickets, roaches, and spiders. (a lot) i had already called pest control, but they haven't done anything. And i even paid for it. I live first floor, which a big backyard. But when its raining, its gets super soggy and its literally a swamp. I get it that the pool is fun, but there's pool party's every week, and they put on loud music. I haven't reported it, but I've been many... report about it, but they haven't done anything to stop them. The nails are not well put in together, my bathroom drawer keeps on falling off, and when we look inside to look at what is wrong, they didn't put the nails correctly. Its easy to fix, but this problem should have been fixed while they were building. Overall, its very modern here, nice color scheme (blue, black, brown) very aesthetic. Tawana helping me move in was very nice and smooth, and overall its pretty well built. I love the gym, leasing office with coffee, and pool table, vending machine , and pool. Its pretty great here.
