Extremely Concerned Resident
I live at The Elbert, one of the Peaks at Lake Cliff properties. I have lived here for almost 3 months now. And the reason I'm finally leaving a review, and 2 stars at that, is because I feel like this is not an apartment community. This might as well be individual condos in a building where it's dependent on residents to pick up after neighbors who leave trash in the hallways, who put out their cigarettes on the walls and stairways, leaving burn marks as evidence. I've left more than a handful... of voicemails with the leasing office, which is located at the Peaks at Lake Cliff property. No return calls, and when I've gone there in person, they are very kind, and apologize for being short-staffed. And I don't doubt that there is something happening with the company/companies that own and manage the properties under the Peaks at Lake Cliff umbrella. I don't know what's going on, but as a resident I feel abandoned. I also would like to mention, while not necessarily a property-specific concern, we hear gunshots in the neighborhood on a weekly basis. And I do know that people who I've witnessed being arrested on the property are allowed back in the building, even if they don't live here, because there's no oversight whatsoever from the management or owners of this apartment building. If the Peaks at Lake Cliff sees this review, please contact me.
