Village Townhomes

I lived here 2 years ago and it was great until we got the move-out charges. Charged for an oven that wasn't broken, charged for cleaning I spent 2 days doing. Refused to budge on charges and blocked us from inspecting the apartment to dispute the charges. I attribute this to a change in management midway through the lease because they weren't nearly as nasty before. Wanna be strapped with absurd charges? Then sign up with village townhomes!

I’ve lived here for almost 2 years and I’ve loved my place. Safe place, good neighborhood and quiet environment. Lots of friendly people! Feel like family here.

Had been living hear for two years. Loved the management and any maintenance requests were dealt with in a timely manner. Then about a year ago the management changed and it has been awful. Not only did they jack up my rent by $100, but when I asked them why they said the previous property manager wasn't charging me the right price. I asked them to come fix a cabinet that looked like it was pulling off the wall in the kitchen and it took almost a month and several phone calls to get them to come... . I was also made to wait almost 6 months to get my leaky sink fixed. The complex doesn't pay for anything so you are responsible for everything and when I had to move out two months earlier than my lease they tried to charge me to extra to let them "attempt" to find new renters. Carol "the owner" was very short with us anytime we had a question and would not budge or let us come to any kind of agreement on getting out of our lease early even though we told her several months in advance even before the busy time of year. 10/10 would not rent again. The actual rental was very nice and neighbors were great, but management made it impossible to want to stay. Lee mas

I don't really write a lot of reviews on the internet but i come here to talk about the current property manager and the bad experience I had every time I spoke with her. I was living on the property for about 1.5 year and had perfect standing. After a moved out they charged me for things I didn't do and her assistant told me they lost papers with the transition of management and theres nothing that I can do to proof. They over charge me when I moved out and she had the worst customer service... that I ever experience in my life. If you're looking for a rental in Lubbock there are many other nice properties that will take care of you and charge you what is right. But this is not the one, I would never tell someone to live there after what i learn when I moved out. So if you looking for a rental please consider some place else. Also i tried to speak with someone else in charge and Carol told be she was the only person that I could speak with and nobody else could talk with me as she is the "Owner" of the place. The property have a good space and is affordable, but is not worth it while the person is Managing it. Lee mas

I moved in a little over a month ago and it has been so great living here. The management has been so incredibly helpful and it was so easy to move in and get all the utilities set up. The neighborhood is great, really quiet. Overall, this place has been amazing.
