Lack of Professionalism When It Mattered Most
My mother was a resident here for three years. When she passed away, management was notified, yet no one contacted our family to explain the procedure for terminating her lease. I eventually had to ask the front desk, where I was finally told what steps were required. We followed those instructions and completed everything by the end of the month.
Despite this, we were still charged for the following month’s rent. This is where my one-star review comes in. I called, emailed, and followed up... repeatedly, but could not reach the property manager. I left numerous messages and had to visit the property twice before finally speaking with her in person. At that time, I was told a refund was “in the works.”
That conversation was three months ago, and I have yet to receive anything. Since then, I have continued to email, text, and call with no resolution. It now appears I will have to make another in-person visit.
Dealing with the loss of a parent is difficult enough. The lack of professionalism, communication, and follow-through from the management at Bell Tower Reserve only added to an already painful experience. If you plan to live here, be sure to immediately close any accounts tied to the property, or be prepared for significant frustration when trying to resolve issues.
