On paper, this apartment looks decent. In reality, it’s riddled with issues that management continuously ignores.
Let’s start with the parking garage. It smells like actual garbage all the time because there’s no airflow. And where does all that stagnant air go? Straight into the stairwells and hallways. That cheap, headache-inducing fragrance they pump in? It’s not ambiance — it’s to cover up the stench. Spoiler: it doesn’t work. If you park here regularly, be prepared for your car to smell... like it’s been sitting inside a dumpster for a year. Not exaggerating.
Maintenance is an absolute joke. I’ve submitted over five tickets about my glass shower door, which still hasn’t been fixed. The door slides off track, causing the glass panels to grind together — and with the slightest impact, it’s just waiting to shatter. I’ve had to keep it open at all times just to avoid a literal safety hazard. No urgency from management. At this point, I don’t expect it to ever get fixed.
Laundry? Forget it. There are three laundromats per floor. If one breaks, it’s game over — it won’t get repaired. I submitted a ticket in January. It's now mid-2025. The only response? A taped-on “not working” sign that’s become a permanent fixture.
Here’s a fun one: there are no openable windows. Zero. No ceiling fans either. So when you’re cooking, it’s a toss-up: set off your fire alarm like someone did last week, or crack open your balcony door and pray pigeons don’t fly in. Ventilation? Never heard of it.
Now, to be fair — the ceilings are high, so the small square footage doesn’t feel suffocating. And the neighborhood itself is incredibly convenient, with stores and food spots nearby.
But let’s be real: this building is next to a homeless shelter. It’s terrifying walking out, especially at night. There are police cars outside nearly every week and people camping by the entrance often — just hope for the best.
Save yourself the stress. This place might look like a deal, but it’s overpriced for the chaos you’ll be living in.
as a cherry on top, they started completely flipping the lids open on the garbage cans after I complained multiple times
