Ashton Creek isn’t the worst place to live, but it definitely could be better. The property needs major updates, such as removing the popcorn ceilings, updating the appliances, adding microwaves, and improving the piping and insulation.
During the entire time I lived there, the guest bedroom was extremely cold in the winter and very hot in the summer. When I submitted a maintenance request, I was told to close the bathroom vents so more air would flow into the bedrooms. I don’t feel like that... should have been necessary.
Also, after taking a shower, the master bedroom sometimes had a musty smell, almost like there might be mold somewhere. I often had to open the bedroom window just to air it out. Overall, Ashton Creek isn’t the worst, but it’s also not the best.
