City View Lofts

Scheduled a tour and Went. Took the bus there. When I got there they didn’t answer the phone was not able to get to the office, tried to leave a message and the answering machine was full. Also a car was circling and watching me like I was some type of criminal. Horrible experience.

The City View Lofts in Richmond, VA is a great place to live. The buildings have a cool industrial aesthetic, a well equipped workout room, and a lovely pool. The brick walls and soaring ceilings give the unit an almost art gallery feel. But, best of all is the management staff, especially April who went above and beyond to assist during a difficult year. If you are looking for a top-notch place to live, I highly recommend the City View Lofts.

Great customer service and a very friendly staff! Joy & Shannon went above and beyond for us. We had many questions about floorpans but we live 4 states away, so the staff really came through for us. The apartments and amenities are decorated so well, plus the dog park is very convenient.

We live out of town and work full-time. We had scheduled an appointment to tour a few units over the phone for 3pm today - a Saturday. We get here at 2:50, and shortly after, another woman joins us. After 30 mins of nobody coming to get us for the tour and trying to call the leasing office (which we were sitting in, and it's empty), the other woman says good luck and leaves. We finally get in touch with someone off-site who says there was no record of our tour even though we had the name of the... person who was supposed to tour us. It was almost like she was trying to put the blame on us with the whole "it was a miscommunication" bit. We get off the phone after requesting someone in charge contact us so we can straighten this out. As we get off the phone, a man walks in (it's now 3:50pm) and asks if he can help us. We curtly explain to him our situation and he blames it on their communication center. When we ask if we can do a tour despite all of this, he says "we're closing, I've been doing tours all day." We then find out that he is the one that was supposed to tour us. Keep in mind, it's not yet 4pm, they're technically still open and there was no effort made to accommodate us after we drove into Richmond to specifically see this one apartment. We will be making a formal complaint, but my advice is to admire the photos of the place online, but look elsewhere. Lee mas
