Recommended with a few warnings.
The new apartment building is wonderful to living and has many pros and very few cons.
Lets start with the Pros. The building is close to grocery stores, gas stations, play ground, a school in walking distance. Pretty much anything you may need is some where in a 4 block radius. if you're a little picky about where you go to shop, you can always drive about 15 minutes and go to South Center. The staff on site are very helpful, and try to keep the community clean and functioning. The interiors... are wonderful, carpet in the bedrooms, stone tiles in the bathroom, and lament wood floors every where else. Big sliding windows in every room. New power efficient appliances (March 2015). Big open floor plans.
Now with the Cons. The biggest Con is Parking. There are very limited parking spots, and we all have assigned parking, with only 2 guest parking spots. The guest parking is never open, and they do tow cars rather fast from our lot, so don't expect to have any space for your friends to park their car. Next is the neighbors, some of small kids that love to play and yell right in front of your open window. Don't get me wrong, our apartment has a play ground, but my apartment is on the opposite side of the building from the playground and the kids will run all around the building just screaming and running. I swear the ceilings are a bit thin, because I can hear my upstairs neighbor Dancing/Walking/Running/Bowling (who knows) just lots of noise at all times of the day from upstairs. Think you're safe at 2 AM, think again. The walls between rooms is thin, this isn't always a problem for some of the layouts of the apartments, but they do have layouts with Bedrooms just separated by that thin wall, I could hear someone talking in the room over, so good luck having a "private" moment, or even watching tv without bothering your roomie. My last con, the master bath. For some reason, the master bath is more of a 3/4 bath. Instead of a tub, it has a standing shower, and the bathroom is fairly small. The sink in the bathroom had a faucet that was too close to the edge of the bowl, it was so close you can't get your hand under the water before it hits the side of the bowl (unless your hands are less than 1/2" thick) though I was able to fix the issue by buying a thing on Amazon that is made to bring water close for kids.
In the end, I'd recommend this apartment building to friends and I really do like living here. I would just give them the warnings of the cons.
