Springfield Meadows

Don’t call and expect an answer….they NEVER answer. Maintenance requests take forever but they have time to walk the property and take pictures of peoples patios to say you cannot have bikes or balls for “appearance purposes” but yet the garbage area constantly has trash piled and spilt all over which attracts rats. Then they will continue to charge you $50 a month for a washer that barely works and a dryer that I have to tape shut to dry clothes. Then the best part of that is I put a... maintenance request in and no one has even came to look at it and surprise surprise no communication on the status but it was changed to “in progress” the same day I put the request in. Then they will add a $75 late fee on top of it. These apartments were great when I moved in but sadly have just steadily gone downhill. Do not rent from here if possible. This property is income restricted and I believe that is why they do the things they do unfortunately. Lee mas

The staff is very friendly and helpful. I believe the person I spoke with was named Yohana and he was very polite and professional. And the grounds are kept in immaculate shape. I would definitely recommend this community to family and friends.

I applied at Springfield Meadows for apartment V246 on 4/13/21. I submitted an application via their online website portal. They charged my debit card a total of $245.28 which including the application fee and a $200 “holding fee”.

Within an hour of applying online I was called by Ashley from Springfield Meadows and informed the apartment was actually no longer available because the resident living there “changed their mind”. Ashley informed me residents have 72 hours to change their mind which... if this is the case why is the apartment listed available until after that time period has passed?

So I told Ashley I want my money refunded immediately because the application wasn’t even ran and furthermore the apartment I applied for was not even available. She said I would have to fill out a special form and have it sent to their corporate office and I needed to allow 21 days to receive it. This is unacceptable. The transaction was still in pending status on my bank account and could easily have been cancelled. She said I signed a form agreeing to it taking 21 days which I did not I signed a form contingent upon applying for an apartment that was not actually available.

I am requesting an immediate full refund of $245.28 and feel others should be warned of the shady business practices of this company. The main parent company is called HNN Associates LLC and I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau as well as filed a dispute with my bank. Lee mas

I have lived at this complex for over a year now.
Like every other complex’s I’ve lived at from Detroit to Virginia Beach there are not so great neighbors but the office staff is working very hard to get the bar people out. They always have a fun activity each month ranging from a summer bbq to a puzzle contest. There is a monthly newsletter of informative news.
The office staff has gone through some changes and there a lot of new faces but they are all awesome and helpful, I recently had a... work order and it was completed within 24 hrs, with the old staff it would take 3-5 days sometimes even longer.
The ladies in the office are always smiling and laughing, which makes the atmosphere fun.
On the weekends the cabana girl is always willing to help and has some good conversations, she prints out coloring sheets and had games out for the kids to play.
My daughter and I love it here and would recommend family and friends to live in this community. Lee mas
