Unacceptable Move-In Conditions – Major Issues Ignored Despite Polite Staff
I’m extremely disappointed with my move-in experience at this apartment.
When I arrived, I found that both bathrooms were missing showerheads, there was no water from the bathroom sink, and there was no light in the bedroom. These are basic necessities, and it is absolutely unacceptable that the apartment was handed over in such a condition.
The cleanliness was also far below standard — there was visible dust, trash, and dirt throughout the apartment, including the cabinets, countertops, and... balcony. The washing machine and dryer were filthy, and the washing machine made loud noises all night, making it difficult to sleep.
To make matters worse, I was initially given the wrong key, which caused even more delays and stress after a long journey. Despite raising these issues immediately, none of them were resolved in a timely manner.
While I appreciate that the staff were polite and responsive in communication, being friendly is not a substitute for actually fixing the problems. I lost valuable time and comfort due to negligence and poor preparation on the management’s part.
Frankly, I’m angry and shocked that a property would let someone move in under these conditions. It shows a lack of basic responsibility and respect for tenants. This experience has caused me unnecessary stress and frustration, and I still don’t feel fully settled. I absolutely expected better and feel completely let down.
