The Surf

I lived at surfside and surf apartments for two years, going on three and management switched this past May. The new management is fantastic! In April, a week before exams my apartment caught on fire and the new manager was so kind, handled the situation amazingly, and did not charge me exurbanite fees (like the previous managers would've). Thanks to her kindness, I was able to study for my exams without having to worry about added financial burdens. She is also planning to replace some... furniture, cabinets, and utilities in both properties, making the apartments significantly nicer. She also brings her dog to work! Super cute! Lee mas

Over the course of the 5 years I have lived here, this apartment has raised my rent by 200 dollars and there are numerous issues. Firstly, the apartment manager likes to raise your rent just to hire 4 DJs and a private sailboat while they have year-round construction projects that make living there essentially impossible. Not to mention the homeless that sleep in the basement and sleep on the bench outside. Manager doesnt respond to emails on weekends too.

terrible terrible terrible. the management makes it outrageously difficult to do almost anything. signing the lease is a nightmare for no reason, as if everything else. the property itself is not very nice and ridiculously overpriced. upon move in there were issues with my sink, loose cabinets, and more. the temperature inside of the apartment was very uncomfortable and the bathrooms were one million degrees even during winter. and the air conditioner makes the entire room smell horrible. there... where bugs everywhere. they shut the water off every other week. mail gets stolen and they do nothing about it. the furniture is old, ratty, and literally falling apart. also when it’s windy or rains the windows rattle extremely loud and make it impossible to sleep. the employees are slow to respond to emails and are so unorganized. and for the prices of this place?? it’s almost insulting. take your money somewhere else please. insanely overpriced, really weird and poorly organized management, broken appliances and furniture, no natural light. worst mistake i’ve made in quite a while

Property manager is quite difficult to contact. Maintenance is basically non-existent. Lots of bugs. Water is often yellow, you will need a filter for everything. Another tenant can’t even get their air conditioning fixed. This property is super overpriced when considering how negative of an experience the new management this year is.
