Located along Interstate 4 just 13 miles from Downtown Tampa, Seffner is a quiet suburban city with quick access to the best of Florida's nature preserves. Seffner is home to several lakes and the area is lined with oak trees, giving it an overall wooded feel. Kingsway Road and Old Hillsborough Avenue form the center of Seffner, but most of the city's retail and dining options lie south along Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Seffner is within proximity to a number of Tampa Bay area attractions, including Florida State Fairgrounds, Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Lettuce Lake Park, Dinosaur World, Lowry Park Zoo, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, the University of South Florida, and the Museum of Science and Industry. This largely residential section of east Tampa offers up affordable apartments and single-family homes for rent.
