Verona at Boynton Beach

I had a very disappointing experience with the leasing process at this property.

I initially made an appointment online on 8/7/26 to view an apartment on 8/8/26. I was then contacted by Diana, who told me there were actually no appointments available for 8/8. When I asked why the system had allowed me to schedule an appointment, I was told that their system is run completely by AI and has been making a lot of errors.

Despite that, I did meet with Diana on 8/8 to view the apartment, and I want… to be fair in saying that she was very nice and pleasant during the showing. She explained that if we applied within 24 hours, the $500 application fee would be applied toward one month's rent. We explained that we needed to move before 9/1, and we were given a proposed move-in date of 8/25. We decided to move forward and were told that we would receive a decision within 72 hours of completing the application. We applied on 8/9/26.

Unfortunately, that is where the experience went downhill.

After submitting the application, 72 hours passed with no response. I called the office and was directed to an AI assistant, Brooke, and left a message. When I still received no response, I continued trying to contact the office by phone and email. I called repeatedly, sent emails, and followed up every other day for approximately two weeks. My calls and emails were not returned.

I finally received an email response on August 27, but it was an AI-generated message rather than a personal response from someone I could actually speak with. I wanted to discuss the results and have some basic questions answered, but despite continued attempts to contact the office, I still have not received a call back or a meaningful response.

By this point, we had to find another place to live because we could not afford to wait indefinitely without communication or a decision.

Diana was very nice during the actual showing, but the application and follow-up process was extremely frustrating. If an applicant is being asked to pay a $500 application fee and is told they will receive a response within 72 hours, timely communication and follow-through should be expected.

Based on our experience, I would not recommend this apartment complex or its management company. The lack of communication and inability to reach an actual person throughout the application process was extremely disappointing. Read More
