Apartments: Amazing; Residents: Not so much
I moved here as soon as these apartments opened and have loved every minute....for the most part. The apartments themselves are amazing. The kitchen is huge, stylish with tons of cabinet and drawer space. The vaulted ceilings on the 3rd floor make the whole apartment feel so spacious. The bathroom is the biggest I've ever seen in a 1 bedroom. I don't have a single complaint about the actual apartment. What I do have a problem with are the people that live here. For such a luxury apartment, I was... quite bothered by the pot smoking constantly going on in the stairwells, the groups of young people that would hang out in the breezeways late at night (1-3 am), yelling, arguing, drinking, and waking me up every time. Because of this, I have seen the police at my building 4 times in the past 6 months dealing with these people. The pool closes at night, but people either jump the gate to get in or rig the door to be able to let them in after hours. I've also seen people that don't live in the community using the pool and having their dogs in the pool as well. I really loved these apartments and still do, but the types of people that are moving in is the reason why I am not renewing my lease. The disturbances have become too frequent and I would rather not live in a place where cops are called on a regular basis. I never expected this from a brand new, upscale apartment community. I pay the premium rent to not have to worry about situations such as these. I'm really sad to be moving because these apartments could have had great potential.
