Cove 47 Review – Honest First Impressions from a New Resident
My fiancé and I recently moved into a 3 bedroom apartment at Cove 47, and while the experience has had its ups and downs, I genuinely believe this property has a lot of potential—with a few important caveats.
First, the highlights:
- The team—especially Kameron, Keira, and Karen—have been truly wonderful. They’ve been kind, responsive, and patient throughout our entire move-in process. Their support has been the biggest reason I’m giving Cove 4 stars.
- The apartment itself is spacious, full... of natural light, and thoughtfully designed. We appreciate the layout and the attention to detail—it really does feel like a place we can turn into a home.
- The amenities are beautiful. The welcome lounge, pool area, and sky deck are well-maintained, plush, and give a glimpse of the upscale lifestyle Cove 47 promises.
That said, a few things are holding us back from giving a full 5 stars:
- The hallways are still under construction—especially on the fifth floor, where we live. They're dimly lit and unfinished, which makes the walk to our apartment feel a bit gloomy. It oddly reminds me of the psych ward I rotated through during medical school—not quite the “luxury living” atmosphere that was advertised.
- The cleanliness of the property’s exterior needs work. During a walk around the grounds, we noticed multiple spots with dog waste that hadn’t been picked up, and even some lizard droppings in the hallway. It really took away from the first impression.
- There’s a noticeable temperature difference between rooms. Our master bedroom stays much warmer than the rest of the apartment, even with the AC running—a small but frustrating issue when trying to sleep comfortably.
- The balconies weren't cleaner prior to our move in.
All in all, Cove 47 has a lot going for it—and I recognize it’s still a work in progress. With time and attention to these details, I truly believe it can live up to its upscale promise. We’re hopeful that the coming months bring continued improvements, and we’ll be watching with cautious optimism.
