Lived here for 16 months. It was host to a variety of problems from the beginning. Water heater & dish washer had to be replaced in the first week. Dryer in the first few months & then three times after that. Washer also had to be replaced once.
There was an ongoing issue with power in the apartment that went on for more than a month. Maintenance responded to only turn it on. It wasn't until I gave them a negative rating they responded that they called in a professional that they actually fixed... the issue.
A apartment above me flooded. No one bothered to tell me & it wasn't until I was awake that I found out. Luckily the person vacuuming it was around & was able to help. I went to front office to address it & was given the property manager's card & was rushed out because they were trying to get someone to sign a lease. All emails sent to the email listed on the card bounced back because it said the email did not exist.
Maintenance does respond quickly, however they do a very weak job or don't know how to fix things properly (which is why the complex called a professional to do the job).
Complex has a no smoking policy but it smells like weed at all times of the day because people smoke on their porch, in the street, by the playground & on staircases.
Security is a major issue. Police found a stolen car in front of my apartment & pretty much had guns painted in my living room. Police are in the neighborhood weekly & have even seen them going door-to-door in one building. Front gate for visitors had been broken by the year. There is no security at night.
The gym is had busted equipment for months & the pool always looked dirt.
Speaking if dirty, many of the walkways on the bottom floors are filthy. Lawn maintenance will also blow dirt all over your porch if you live on the bottom floor. You also have to pay for valet trash, which doesn't pick up on weekends & the dumpster always overflows.
