Horrible all around
If you’re considering a stay at Sanctuary at Daytona, you might want to think twice. I had a disappointing experience that I feel compelled to share.
**Bugs Everywhere**: Upon arrival, I was greeted not only by the beach but by an unsettling number of bugs. It was impossible to relax or enjoy the surroundings when you’re constantly swatting them away.
**Pool Problems**: The pool was a major draw for me, but it was shut down by the health department for months. There was no clear communication... about when it would reopen, leaving guests without a key amenity.
**Unpleasant Odors**: There was a persistent smell of marijuana throughout the property, which detracted from the overall experience. Instead of a peaceful retreat, it felt more like a party atmosphere that wasn’t appealing.
**Frequent Police Presence**: I noticed police officers on the premises quite often, which gave the impression that the area might not be the safest. It was unsettling to see law enforcement dealing with various individuals who seemed to be involved in questionable activities.
Overall, my stay was far from what I expected. I would suggest looking elsewhere if you want a clean, safe, and enjoyable environment.
