After one year my son will not be staying there.I advice you find a nicer place even if you need to pay slightly higher price.It’ll be for your all goods.
My issue with Hideaway is the move out charge.They send out invoices and some as high as 700.SO BE CAREFUL what you sign up for and BE aware…Start saving for move out charges!!!Cause they will get you with the smallest thing that you wouldn’t have even noticed yourself.And even if you think you did Amazing cleaning job.MAKE… SURE take pictures upon move in of every every corner,under the furniture too…etcPROTECT YOURSELF!!!
I received an invoice with the charge for bedroom full paint.Mind it…invoice came with NO supporting photos of any damages.As of today,Sept 3rd I still DO NOT see any photos on the portal as they said they would be.It’s almost as they just put a random,guessed number just to suck more money out of residents,mostly students.And if I knew walls were in such a terrible shape to be needing full paint ,I would keep quite.BUT,we scrubbed that place,including walls.There’s absolutely no reason for full paint.Also same day as invoice came in I called front desk.They might be sweet but not much help there.Was told to email info@hideaway.com.Which I did July 30th and Aug 3rd and some more times to get hold of anyone,asking how to go about the dispute.I attached photos after bedroom has been cleaned as a proof ,move in ready condition.NO REPLY!!!Emailed them again multiple times.NO LUCK!!!Finally got a response from them just this week.WOW!That tells you about their poor communication.Since July 30th till just now.
All year residents had bug problems.My son’s room had ladybugs invasion.They’re everywhere!!!Same with roaches!!!So yes,bring case of bug spray.
I agree on limited parking spaces.And yes they making money with parking fines.You might need to park away from your building and then get yourself UBER.
Bottom line,Hideaway does not deserve 5stars.It’s no luxury place.And for them to send shocking invoices is almost their cry for help. Read More

Incredibly disrespectful and dismissive staff. Upon move in, have you move into a dirty, destroyed apartment that they refuse to fix and then upon move out they charge you for the damages that you requested be fix when you first moved in! deplorable. save your money.

The parking situation here is honestly ridiculous. You can get booted for parking in spots that aren’t even labeled. I actually got booted when I first moved in, and now it’s happened again because the parking permit they gave me apparently expired after a year. I didn’t realize that, and when I renewed my lease they never gave me a new one or sent any kind of email about it.

What makes it even more frustrating is that I literally have a sticker showing I’m a resident and still got booted. The… communication from management is seriously lacking, and parking is already extremely limited as it is.

And parking isn’t the only issue. There are ongoing maintenance problems, appliances like the dryers and ovens are outdated and constantly breaking, and the AC acts up. If you work remotely or need reliable internet for studying, that’s another problem. The internet only seems to work about three weeks out of each month.

Great experience! “E” was the leasing agent we worked with during our visit. She was very friendly and helpful. The property grounds are well maintained with lots of beautiful trees. We were pleased with pricing and felt the amenities were excellent!
