Missed Deadlines with Application Process
I applied for an apartment on Monday, February 2, and received a pre-approval the same day. I toured the property on Tuesday and followed up regarding the status of my application. I was informed that the unit I applied for was pending a transfer decision from the current tenant, which I was completely understanding and flexible about, including being open to switching units.
I was told I would receive an update by end of day Tuesday or Wednesday morning. When I didn’t hear anything, I followed... up again on Wednesday afternoon and was advised I would hear back by end of day Wednesday. As of Thursday morning, I still have not received any update or communication.
What has been most disappointing is not the timeline itself, but the lack of follow-up and proactive communication—especially after being given specific timeframes. I also noticed the unit I applied for was removed and then relisted online with a February 7 availability date, which added to the confusion.
The property itself seems nice, and the staff has been polite during interactions, but clearer and more consistent communication during the application process would greatly improve the experience.
