infestation!
Everything was okay until it wasn't. From day one, I looked past the dingy elevator with dog urine, the poorly made kitchen cabinets, the dog poo in the middle of the hallway and the (literal) practicing DJ right below me- all things that I knew maintenance or leasing crew wasn't responsible for. Afterall, maintenance is a thankless job- when I moved in water was leaking from the roof in the kitchen which was eventually fixed, clogged /tubs skinks were fixed promptly, electrical kitchen outlets... were fixed eventually.. What really sold me was the German Roach infestation. Apparently, people came out to "spray" a couple of times if I remember correctly- it didn't even touch the problem. They came by and put out Sticky Traps (which filled up in no time) but again, it didn't touch the problem. Things happen and I get I live in Florida but when I walk into my space at any given time of the day or night and see roaches scattering is crazy. I found them in my shower, I opened the fridge door and one ran out, I find them in the kitchen, on the walls, and one even walked on my FOREHEAD when I was laying in bed. I walk into my room scanning for any movement now. I live fearfully. What really sucks is that they haven't even checked in to see how the traps or spay went. They don't truly care. I feel bad for whoever signs the lease. Good Luck!
