Arbours at Silver Lake

This is the best managed apartment complex I have ever lived in. For 10 years I worked in property management though I don't anymore. When I moved in here, I was amazed at the quick response for maintenance, friendly service guys, and friendly manager Me'Chell. We never had a single issue living here, expect a few minor maintenance issues which were always fixed same day! My daughter and I felt safe and comfortable. The community events were cute; my daughter loved them. The trash is especially... convenient, since you can just take as much as you need to dispose of to the compactor 24/7. Also, the apartments have been renovated which doesn't show on some website for this community, but they have been. It's very nice and I can't imagine having any complaints! This apartment complex has a terrible property manager and staff. They are filthy on the outside, the staff doesn’t care to clean it. Lastly they raise the rent each year yet the pool is consistently dirty and the gym is empty! All I see is the maintenance Men in their carts texting on their phone. The property managers famous spot is at the pool smoking a pack of cigarettes on the phone.

As we all know, moving can be a stressful time. Where we move can lesson that stress significantly. The Arbours at Silver Lake is just such a place. It’s not only the lake that brings you a sense of calm, but the friendly and knowledgeable staff that greet you. They do their very best to make sure your apartment becomes your home.

Everything here is outdated. They don't keep up with the property. Landscaping is bad, appliances are old, bad carpet, they don't paint the units before you move in, only spot touch. Giant bugs crawl out of the drains all the time!! Good luck getting the staff to care about it. Maintenance takes a week to fix anything. The office personnel is not nice. These people truly don't care about the people living in these apartments..

The buildings look really old on the outside and on the inside. They have old appliances as well the color of the walls are very bare. It's very loud living here and the staff is friendly but the maintenance people take time to do everything. The rent is still high and I do not recommend anyone living here.
