Beacon Apartments

This rental community has pleasantly surprised me. My apartment is clean and spacious, the maintenance crew does a great job keeping the community areas clean and shiny. The security is well thought out. Nobody can enter the building from outside unless they are let in. The neighborhood is up and coming with the Historic Lyric theater at walking distance. Downtown Miami, with its performance arts center, the museums and Bayside are just a short walk away as well.

I lived at the beacon for 5 years. The first 4 were nothing, my unit was fine. The building is located in a high crime area which leads to your cars being broken in to . The last year of my residence there was hell. Our apartment had a massive water leak due to a roof issue and we were treated like criminals ! 6 months of black mold growing on the walls and they did NOTHING ! My daughter and i could not breath while being there. She is asthmatic. I asked for months for them to repair or move me,... the response was simple. DUE TO COVID BLAH BLAH., what does Covid have to do with a roof leak ?!. Countless emails and false promises and nothing happened . ( i have the emails!) Its sad that i am having to write this but i hope no one has to go thru what i went to. Read More

When applying I was told there were going to have apartments available within three to six months. After being on the wait list for 2 month I received a call stated that everyone in the unit had renewed there list and If I wanted to I could get only my holding deposit back. I'm sure that they do that to a lot of people take the $85 application fee and they know there's no apartments anytime soon.

Looking foward to live in. A great location for fast life, a very economical housing opportunity, In the heart of Miami. Enough space to have a foundation, for a family or for students or room mates! And the design is flawless!!!!! It looks really nice???
