Friendly&Updated affordable living in the Fort Lauderdale Area

This past June, my husband and I moved into our current residence after a hard rental year (leased a property without knowing it was in foreclosure). It did not take us long to settle in - honestly, this has been the best apartment we have ever leased in our time in and around Fort Lauderdale.

We have had bigger, and we have had cheaper - but you really can't beat this unit or its location. We are within walking distance to the Coral Ridge Mall, Publix, and numerous restaurants and a mile or...
so from the beach. The counters in the kitchen are granite, and there is a built-in microwave and flat-top stove. The bathroom leaves nothing wanting, and the walk-in closet is BIG.

The landlord's keep the lawn manicured, and the superintendent lives on property so the few questions or concerns we've had (the A/C didn't work when we moved in) have been immediately addressed. Our neighbors mostly keep to themselves which is fine with us - although everyone is always friendly in passing.

There is even a quirky, colored "accent" wall in the living room that they offered to paint over (the last tenant had painted it), however I really like it (hate the sterile, white apartment). Honestly, we've lived in units longer (been here 2 1/2 months) that never felt like home, and this unit couldn't feel any "homier!"

New Orleans style adorable apartment in Oakland Park

This is the perfect building... It is walking distance to everything you could want or need. Coral Ridge Mall is across the street along with many restaurants and a dine in movie theater.

This building is on the edge of an older established well maintained neighborhood with quiet respectful neighbors..
