ROACH AND RATS.
I moved into this apartment complex at the end of April and have had a terrible experience so far. I picked up my keys on April 21 and moved in on April 26, only to find out the unit was infested with roaches. They’re everywhere—in the bedrooms, kitchen cupboards, refrigerator, bathrooms, and living room. I’ve tried handling it myself with no success, and despite contacting management multiple times, the problem still hasn’t been resolved.
I submitted a maintenance request on April 29 (which is... still open) and called the office on April 28. I even went in person on Saturday, May 3, and was promised that the exterminator would be sent out on Monday, May 5. I followed up again that day and was told they only come on Tuesdays—completely contradicting what I had been told earlier. The back-and-forth and lack of follow-through have been incredibly frustrating.
What’s worse is that I’m paying a lot of money for a 3-bedroom unit, and I can’t even use it comfortably. I have a 9-month-old daughter who is just starting to learn how to walk, and I’ve had to keep her confined to her crib because it’s not safe to let her crawl or play on the floors with roaches constantly showing up.
This has caused a huge amount of stress, especially with a young child involved. I wouldn’t recommend this complex to anyone—no one should be paying this kind of rent to live in these conditions. Management’s lack of urgency and accountability has made a bad situation even worse.
