I feel robbed and humiliated
I had a very disappointing and stressful experience with this apartment complex. I applied for an apartment that was supposed to be ready by a specific date, but it was not available when I needed to move in. I paid a $375 application fee, which is not cheap, and when I asked for a refund, I was treated with complete disrespect.
The assistant manager hung up on me, spoke to me rudely, and even told me she didn’t have to listen to me. She also promised to call me back several times but never... followed through.
When I finally spoke to the manager, at first he seemed understanding and asked me to send an email explaining the situation. I did exactly that, but he never responded to any of my emails or phone calls afterwards. I even went back to the office, and he left me sitting in front of his glass office without acknowledging me until I eventually left. Since then, I have not received any valid response.
Because of their broken promises and unprofessional behavior, I had to pay for a storage unit and a hotel while scrambling to find another apartment. This was not only financially draining but also extremely stressful. For a place that claims to be a “luxury” apartment complex, the treatment I received was anything but professional. I truly felt taken advantage of and mistreated.
