MAA Palm Harbor

I am in my 2nd unit at MAA, Palm Harbor. I wanted to upgrade from one of their excellent 1 bedroom apartments to a 2 bedroom and they were able to accommodate me even though it was several months to go on the lease. There was fee, but I did get my deposit back.
I really like the new apartment. It has the same high ceilings and comfortable, neutral finishes. It does lack a built-in microwave but plenty of room for a countertop one. There is plenty of storage with walk in closets in both bedrooms... , a hall closet and pantry. Plenty cabinets in the kitchen, too. I have been here two months. So far, I have enjoyed living here. Things seem to get fixed quickly. It is fairly quiet, I barely hear anything outside of my apartment. Before moving in Karen was amazing to work with in the leasing office as I was moving from out of state. Since I have moved in, I have spoken to Kim the Property Manager, and she has always been cheerful and helpful. If things keep going this way, I plan on being here for a few years to come.

Unfortunately, the only way to have a good experience with the current management of this property is to not experience them at all. Concerns are met with denials, brushing off, and silence. You will be robbed of property and peace of mind in exchange for an unhealthy and unpleasant temporary shelter. Please do not rent at MAA Palm Harbor. Save yourself the trouble and pain.

I regret the time I spent living there. If you care for yourself or those you live with save yourself the heartbreak and look elsewhere for housing. The memories of my experiences in that horrid environment will haunt me forever.

This property has potential but is poorly, unethically, and inhumanely managed. While most of the team is friendly and helpful the management is dishonest and cruel. The community seems fine from the outside but a look behind the facade will reveal corruption and rot ( both literal and figurative). Save yourself frustration and heartbreak. Look elsewhere for housing.
