I moved out more than a month ago, and I've called on multiple occasions about my security deposit. Nobody answers the calls and they don't return my voicemails.

I have called several about renting there and never got a live person on the phone. Also no one returned my messages. Today I went by there in person and the office was locked, but I could see a person in the office at a desk. She was facing the glass door and large window. I even knocked on the door and she never budged. They must not really want to rent their apartments.

The neighbors are noisy. Mariachi music plays loudly on weekend mornings and on weekend evenings (sometimes past midnight) from both inside the complex and form adjacent homes that abut the property. There is a car alarm that sounds off every 20-30 minutes all weekend long.

The maintenance is spotty at best. The maintenance staff will promise to repair something and then decide not to, and they don't bother to tell you. I've had to submit maintenance requests repeatedly to get something… fixed. Their maintenance philosophy appears to be to let things break before they fix them rather than maintaining them properly (which would save them money in the long run, but their way of doing things is penny-wise and pound-foolish). Even after something is broken, whether it gets fixed is luck-of-the-draw.

Parking is inadequate, and the tenants will park where there aren't marked spaces, even when there are open spaces available.

There is no visible community policing in the neighborhood, or any signs of community policing on the local police department's website.
