Indigo Palmetto Bay

Extremely disappointing experience.

Indigo Palmetto Bay presents itself as a professional, organized community, but the leasing process was anything but. We applied with a clearly discussed move-in date, which was a material factor in our decision. That date was not met, yet the property still refused to refund application fees after failing to perform on the agreed timeline.

More frustrating was the handling of the deposit terms. Prior to applying, we were told there would be flexibility and... potential payment arrangements if a higher-than-standard deposit were required. Only after application and administrative fees were collected did that position change, and we were informed that no such arrangements were available.

Despite strong income, perfect rental history, and full cooperation with screening, the process felt disjointed and misleading. When concerns were raised, communication slowed, accountability disappeared, and the burden was pushed back onto the applicant.

If you are considering Indigo, I strongly recommend getting everything in writing upfront — especially move-in dates, deposit terms, and any promises around flexibility — before paying any fees. Otherwise, be prepared to lose money even if the property cannot meet the timeline or terms discussed.

We've only been here a week and so far we love everything about Indigo! Our move in process was a breeze thanks to the three wonderful ladies in the leasing office!
