Southgate Apartments

I’ve been here for a couple of years now and with the new management taking over, I have seen BIG improvements. The front desk are ACTUALLY there and helpful and Having a maintenance team come and fix any issue the apartment is having within an acceptable amount of time has GREATLY surpassed the old management where it would take weeks before they confirm someone COULD come take a look.

Quick, and easy application process. Staff super friendly. Apartment was very clean. Outside area kept clean as well. Each apt get 2 assigned spaces. The second one is kinda far that’s the only negative. Had 2 minor maintenance issues and they reached out to me and were resolved the same day I put the request in. My family of 5 is happy.

The community is a great place to live at i would refer anybody to live here

I’ve lived here for 3 years! They have a major mold problem that’s continuing to be swept under the rug! They don’t fix anything! All the ac units leak into other apartments! I’ve had to call the fire department because my entire apartment was filled with smoke! It smelled like an electrical burning! I’ve had water leaking from my light fixtures in my kitchen! Please don’t move here! If you value your health this is NOT the place to be!

Property has been know to have many mold cases which weren’t resolved just painted over. There’s no help with maintaining mold issue, just blame placed. Unfortunately I would not recommend to anyone who’s immunocompromised or with young children.
