The Courtney at Bay Pines

There is no such thing as the security or gated entry to the complex. During the three years living at The Courtney the gates are open at all times. Only on rare occasions has the gates been closed . You are charged for secured access but never feel secure. Anyone at anytime can enter the premises. Never any planned social events in the Clubhouse or decorative entryway at the Courtney. Just moved her about 8 weeks ago but love everything about this place. Is super close to the beaches and anything else you could possibly wed. The staff here is great, our leasing consultant Jeff C was wonderful to work with; super responsive, knowledgeable, and professional. This carried over to the two times we needed to call maintenance- they were great as well. Floor plans and grounds are awesome. Can’t say enough about this place

The staff here is great. Floor plans and grounds are awesome. Luxury? No! Cheapest appliances I’ve ever seen. Kitchen cab doors are missing 50% of their screws - they don’t close properly. Floors and walls are paper thin. I live in the very back of the neighborhood and it’s generally quiet except for the drain covers that make a very loud noise when driven over by my neighbors.

This management company (GSC) only allows online property scheduling and there is no ability to communicate with anyone on site. They use a call center, possibly out of the United States, that doesn't have any staff with any responsibility. We scheduled an appointment that was verified with their "AUTOMATIC" email and text response, which was also followed up with additional text and email within the hour of the appointment. Funny thing, no one showed up on the property and the door was locked... . Since you can't communicate with anyone on site, be very wary of leaving work and traveling there as I did. We've lived here over a year while our house was under construction. Recently, we found out our house wasn't ready to move back to. Our lease was to expire and we found that our apt. was already rented. The office staff assured us we would not be homeless. They arranged for the people who wanted our apt. to move into another apt., so we could stay. What a relief that was....and a special thanks to the Courtney!
