Grande Oaks

This is part of the most recent code enforcement complaint I've had to submit about the complex... I think it speaks volumes!

"...The complex also allows neighbors to leave their trash outside of their doors and it causes small animals (cats mostly) to bite through the garbage bags and eat the remnants of the food that was inside. I am told that they charge $25 per occurance to people who leave their trash outside, but it does not seem to help. I believe that they do not actually charge these... people for their filthy habits. I find myself walking through trash every single day just trying to get from my apartment to my car and back. Last week there were eggs on every floor of the apartment bulding as well as broken crayons, hairballs, hair clips, and cheetos. I've also found chicken bones, cheetos, ice cream, banana peels, animal crackers, pop-sickles, capri sun bags, cigarette butts, gum, and more. Every week the floors are sticky. Luckily, the complex had my building (the hallways and stairs) pressure washed so none of this is visible, but it will not last long. the complex does not maintain it's buildings to the standard that they should be maintained. I have been living here since mid-February and this is only the second time the building has been preassure washed, even though I find new foods in the hallways and on the stairs on nearly a daily basis.

The most egregious code violation may be the constant overflowing of the dumpster/ trash compactor. The trash commonly overflows into the street and is to the point where my husband and I, unwilling to walk through the pile of trash just to dispose of our trash at the dumlster, had to keep our readily disposable trash bag in our apartment for days until the the issue was resolved. This happens at least twice a month and lasts for at least three days every single time."

These apartments are the nastiest I've seen in my life. No one seems to care about the filthiness. I can't even speak to the manager (Elissa) because she has this nasty attitude that makes her literally intolerable. I cannot stand living here and I am utterly embarassed to call this place my home.
