Moving here is a huge mistake!
The Property Management and the Management Company are very unprofessional and dismissive or residents.
I moved into Timber Trace on the 30th of June 2025 and my experience has been terrible from the start. The apartment was not in the best shape at move in but that's actually the least of my concerns at this point. The very first night my son and I began hearing a weird knocking noise coming from the area our AC is located. It went on all night and into the next day varying in volume. I... immediately notified the property manager and played her audio I recorded of the noise and was told it would be taken care of. Days passed and the noise continued. I made several more complaints almost daily via phone call, text and at the office in person. Often times my calls and text went ignored and sometimes when I'd go to the office it would be locked during business hours. The times I would get a response I would be told something is being done. I have asked several times to be moved to a different unit but get gaslit each time and told there are no units available even though they constantly post available units on various sites. It wasn't until July 21 that the property manager and her supervisor came to my apartment to investigate the noise and attempt to determine what the issue is. It was ruled out the noise was not coming from the neighbors. I was told they would send someone to take care of it. No one came until the 28th and whatever they did did not fix the issue, it actually made it worse and much louder. I've called and emailed corporate several times over the past month and no one has ever responded.
When I speak to the property manager she tells me anything to hurry me off the phone or out her office. Today is August 1 and I have sent messages asking if they will be sending someone to fix the issue. That was ignored but they made it their business to send a warning for me to pay rent by the 5th or I'd be penalized with late fees.
It's unfortunate but I have to seek legal action because they are not taking my complaints seriously. Since June 30th to today, August 1st, my son and I have only had 1 day of the peaceful enjoyment of our apartment we are entitled to as mentioned in our lease.
