The Oaks at Royal Palm

I have rented two homes from North Crane Living, an apartment and a house. As landlords, North Crane is extremely responsive to questions and maintenance requests. As neighbors, they make me feel part of a community.

Great place to live. My wife and I lived here for a year and it was quiet, close to grocery, shopping, and beach. Everything is only 5 or 10 min away. The manager Fred helped us with all the details of leaving and was extremely helpful and kind. I would live here again without a doubt. Thank you Fred!

My fiancé and I just moved to Vero Beach this year from Boston, and we were on a tight deadline to find housing. We certainly had no idea what to expect when looking for a place to rent in Florida’s housing market, but we knew we couldn't be too picky given our timeline. After finding a few promising apartments online (which took hours of googling and frantically calling realtors that were ALL dead ends), we were feeling so defeated… I mustered up the courage to search ONE last time for anything... I might have overlooked, and much to my surprise, I stumbled across a beautiful listing from North Crane Living that had recently been posted. It was literally a “unicorn” apartment — I had just secured a job in Vero and this place was just a hop skip and a jump away, the perfect size, and had modern finishes! It ticked every box on our wishlist. I immediately gave North Crane a call around 6:00pm, assuming I’d have to leave a message, but they immediately answered my call and were more than willing to help me, even though their office hours had ended. I had a feeling in my stomach that this place was special.

Fred specifically was so warm and kind, thoughtful, and understanding of our needs; from our first conversation, it really felt like we were speaking to a friend we had known for years, which was refreshing after speaking with many rude, cold realtors in the area. I could tell in the first 30 seconds that this company was a true Godsend. Within 24 hours, we had found our unicorn apartment, signed the lease, and moved in! To this day, North Crane continues to be a blessing to us. They have a great online system for all maintenance requests, and they always respond quickly and attentively should we have an issue (they even followup after your request has been handled to make sure you are satisfied with their service). Our yard and landscaping is constantly maintained as well, which is a big plus to us. We love where we live and we are not only thankful to have amazing property management, but also a true friend in Fred! Thank you, thank you North Crane! These are not luxury apts! The building is old and not properly maintained! The property floods if there's a hurricane or tropical storm, the first floor apts will flood, wish i coukd include pictures,nothing has been done to address this issue. They raised the rent 60% and another $900 to cover the deposit. However the apts were not inspected when they bought the complex, lots of issues and existing tenants scared to ask for maintenance and if and when they do show up you get used parts from... other apts. The owners are rude! The supposed renovations are not happening, they may lay down new floor and paint but the pipes are old and everything leaks, the sewer backs up, the sad laundry room constantly is dirty and machines sometimes work and maintenance is useless.
