Park East - Park Knowles Apartments

The location of the apartment complex is second to none -- you are within walking distance to great restaurants and shops. Besides that, my unit's kitchen was outdated and infested with roaches. The leasing agent lied to me about my unit having a dishwasher (it didn't, which I found out on my move in day). You can hear EVERYTHING that goes on, whether it's other tenants leaving for work or couples having arguments late at night. Whatever you do not get an apartment facing the parking lot on the 300 side. This is the nosiest apartment I have ever lived in EVER (and I just moved here from Downtown Atlanta). Be prepared for the constant sound of all your neighbors building, cutting grass, blowing grass, construction crews backing in, people singing and rowdy college kids pulling up music blasting at 12-1 am on weekends. So If you work 3rd shift like I do. Imagine the joy of listening to all this EVERY SINGLE DAY (thank god... not on Sundays) at 7am because that's when they can start. Oh, and also the back parking lot floods right in front of the dumpster which causes an awful infestation of mosquitoes in the only laundry room, there are tons of feral cats in the back and pray you have an updated kitchen. Quiet area, nice location, safe surroundings. Lacks amenities of newer apartments.

Great location near downtown Winter Park in a very safe a quiet area. One drawback is none of the units have washers/dryers.
