The worst
As with anything related to the CLV Group, this place is a mess, and any chance of resolving any issues have proven to be a total nightmare. Any "amenities" don't exist - no rooftop lounge or terrace, no ground floor terrace, and don't count on your garbage chute ever working either. Hot tub? Nonexistent. Storage lockers? Keep dreaming. Safe and secure mail room (that they love to speak about when doing a tour)? Stolen packages are ever so frequent. Would you like a functioning elevator? Only if... you're luck! Sure, I signed a lease with a building that still has some changes to do, but the least we can do is get the one elevator that residents are allowed to use (out of four, by the way) to actually work. Counting on central air conditioning? Don't even bother - they don't have that either (although they did advertise it as such) so enjoy your window unit that brings in all the bugs for you to enjoy (mind you, I only got a window A/C unit after three weeks of unanswered messages in 30+ degree weather). Interested in living in a safe, secure building? No luck there either - the back alley is always unlocked, as strangers lurk the halls and start trying to fight residents so you'll feel really great. In fact, why bother going to the back alley entrance when you can get in through the parking garage and take an elevator reserved for construction staff to get in, too? Two options, how generous! Every complaint that is ever raised is never addressed and is always ignored. Best part is, you'll never even manage get a hold of people who can resolve any of these issues. Even their staff don't stand by this place - they keep on quitting as residents make complaints and they relay information to the management above them that will not care to listen. The fact that rent costs as much as it does is even more laughable, when you consider all the nightmare it has turned out to be. The Slayte also loves to tout about how they 'foster community' in their spaces, pushing community events as if it compensates for all of this. I reckon the only sense of 'community' I have is complaining with residents about what a nightmare this is. Don't get me wrong, the units are BEAUTIFUL and the building's design is stunning...and that's about it. Trust that you will never have a day that is not filled with absolutely nonsense on the part of CLV Group. Looking forward to the fateful day that my lease finally ends.
