    DON'T LIVE HERE!

    I've lived in Athens Ridge since January 2022 and these past few months have been the WORST. Ever since the new manager started the quality of Athens Ridge has decreased tremendously. Whenever you put in a work order it takes weeks for someone to respond and the majority of the time, they close out your order without even fixing it. My roommates and I have been dealing with a broken refrigerator for four months now and nobody has come to fix it. The shuttle bus schedule is getting worse as well.… I'm either always late to class or have to run to my class so I can just make it on time. We've expressed our concern with the shuttle bus times and our concerns have gone unanswered which isn't surprising. Whenever my roommates and I go to the leasing office to get our questions answered we are met with staff members who either don't know what they are talking about or lie to us just to get us to leave. The latest issue that has troubled my roommates and me is our trashcan. Our trashcan was stolen over three weeks ago and after three of us have gone to the office and talked to staff members about the issue it still hasn't been resolved. Every time we go speak to someone we keep getting different stories and it's getting tiring. Whatever you do, DO NOT LEASE WITH ATHENS RIDGE!!!!!

    I want to first thank you for taking my call so we can discuss these issues. I know that we spoke about the shuttles and getting a better plan in place for residents to ensure you are not late. Also the trash can as stated will be delivered on Friday… as we did not have a previous work order. The refrigerator as well will be looked at tomorrow to see what we can do for you all on this. I hope you always know that my door is always open for you and all residents. Thank you again for allowing me to talk to you today.
