Catalyst Midtown

I absolutely love living at Catalyst; I have been a tenant now for about 6 months and it's been peaceful and joyous. Its quiet and safe; it's always clean which I appreciate it. The fitness center and yoga center are great as well. I have placed a few maintenance orders that were addressed immediately and the admin/staff are always so kind, happy, and extremely helpful. I've renewed my lease early because I can't imagine a greater living experience while I complete school. You've been warned! There are more 1-star reviews than 3,4, or 5 reviews here, but yet they have 4.5 stars rating! When we first moved in, the assigned bedroom and bathroom were sooooo filthy! Hair was everywhere. Desk was super sticky. Bathroom and vanity sink were nasty with gunk everywhere. Overhead light wasn't working. What a terrible way to make somebody feel welcome on the first day!

We didn't get the promo where the utilities are included, so we have to pay for the water ourselves (the... roommates got their utilities included in the rent). The water bill for one room is $134 for one person! That's the same as a full water bill for a house with 5 people. Management was completely useless, they didn't care about our water bill. We had the best customer service with the staff ( Katie, Khaleb, and Riley.) They quickly attempted to rectify problems to make our move-in go as smoothly as possible.

The Catalyst is mismanaged. My son was placed in an apartment with an existing renter who rendered the kitchen unusuable, My son talked to the renter (no change), then contacted management several times about the problem. They did nothing. My son moved out and management accepted his room key within 4 mths, He did pay his 12 mth lease in full even though he didn't live there. Management charged my son $100 for damage to the kitchen that he did not do. I went on a tour and I loved the apartment. The place was beautiful and was very clean. I enjoyed the tour and my experience was amazing with the help of my tour guides, Riley and Preston. I would definitely move here, I felt very comfortable.
