Our family’s experience with Kinetic has been extremely disappointing, and I strongly encourage prospective residents, especially students and their families, to do very thorough due diligence before signing a lease.

Our biggest concern has been the lack of consistency between what we were told before making financial commitments and what we were told afterward. For example, during the reletting process, our family received specific guidance from management about how the process would work. We… relied on that information when deciding to enter into a reletting arrangement, only to have the expectations and rules change once we were already in the agreement.

We had a similar experience with the use of common areas. Certain rules and expectations were communicated during the leasing process, but after the lease was signed, those rules changed. That kind of inconsistency makes it very difficult for students and families to make informed decisions.

Even more frustrating is the lack of accountability when staff members provide conflicting information. One person will tell you one thing, another will provide completely different guidance, and when a family has relied on that information, the response seems to be that it simply does not matter. It absolutely does matter when families are spending money on airfare, hotels, rental cars, time away from work, and other travel arrangements based on guidance provided by the property.

These are not minor inconveniences. When you are housing students and working with families, many of whom live in other cities or states, clear, accurate and consistent communication is essential.

My advice to any family considering Kinetic is to get absolutely everything in writing before signing or making plans based on what you are told. Ask detailed questions about reletting, common-area access, move-in and move-out procedures, fees, policies and any other issue that could affect your student. Do not assume that verbal guidance you receive today will necessarily be honored tomorrow.

Unfortunately, based on our family’s experience, I cannot recommend Kinetic. The disconnect between what is communicated on the front end and what happens once you are financially committed has been significant enough that I would strongly encourage other families to carefully explore their alternatives before signing here. Been living here and it's my 3rd year now. Love it!

Really good experience so far. The staff is friendly, helpful, and always welcoming. I'm glad I chose this community!

It was great living here for the 2 years since they opened. I want to shout out a good review to the security guard Mario - he did his job and was a great person to talk to. The amenities were nice, however things would break or we would be limited with what we could use (such as ping pong table stuck outside, pool curfew, gaming lounge curfew at 11pm, etc.).
