Westmar Student Lofts

If there were negative stars, that’s what Westmar Student Lofts would deserve. This place has been, by far, the worst living experience I’ve ever had. I genuinely don’t understand how they continue to market these as “luxury” apartments when they’re anything but.

I moved into an apartment that was filthy, dealt with roach problems, and then, after moving out, they tried to charge me for issues that existed before I even moved in. Instead of taking responsibility, it felt like they were trying... to pass their failures onto residents.

Management is completely disorganized and shows little respect for the people living there. I rented a two-bedroom apartment and had the second bedroom vacant for most of my lease. While I was out of town after graduating college, I got an email saying I was getting a roommate. They misspelled my name, included incorrect dates, and gave me less than 24 hours’ notice before someone was supposed to move in. I had to call the office myself just to figure out what was actually going on because the email made no sense. That’s not just poor communication—that’s complete incompetence.

What’s amazing is how quickly they’ll boot a guest’s car for being barely over a parking line, yet dirty apartments, pest issues, and resident concerns don’t seem to deserve that same urgency.

And before management posts their usual copy-and-paste response asking me to “reach out,” don’t bother. Residents have been reaching out. The problems continue. If the same complaints keep showing up over and over, maybe it’s time to stop managing your reviews and start managing your property.

Alexis in the leasing office is so amazing. She always has a positive attitude. She’s very communicative and just an overall great help with all my problems and trust i do have a lot. as far as the apartments, you pretty much get what you pay for so I don’t really have any complaints there but overall it is a great day for a undergrad student. That’s not looking for much responsibility.

It's definitely a good student housing option, the cheapest you'll find. Maintenance typically comes pretty quick as well.

Westmar is an affordable living place for students! I’ve been here for 4 years. They offer lower rent and gift cards each lease. The pool is super tea. Guaranteed parking garage. Would recommend.
