The Hill (new)

My daughter moved in last year August and on move in day was not given the apartment she was told she would be in, but instead was given an apartment that looked like they just evited the previous residents just hours before we arrived because all of their stuff was still siting outside the apartment. But the killer part was, the apartment had not be turned over at all, i would not let my daughter move in until the apartment was cleaned. We sat and waited for 4 to five hours until it was cleaned... before i allowed her to move her stuff in. Now get this, just this past week she got an email saying that all residents had to get the electricity in their own name, but what makes that troublesome is that each resident in the apartment is on their own lease so how can you make one person in the apartment get the power turned on in their name and make the other residents pay them a portion of the bill. that is not going to work out. I wish the owners of this property would do a surprise visit because the property management group is not doing a good job at all, the rental office is ran by what looks like all college age individuals who do not have a clue how to properly run an apartment complex. I would advise staying away from this property until it gets cleaned up, meaning the apartments, the property, the rental office and property management group as well. Read More

Do not live at this apartment complex. I can testify that nothing has changed or gotten better. Management is constantly changing, as well as maintenance. These units aren’t up kept, some are infested with bugs, and rodents. When issues come up maintenance takes weeks or months to finally get the issues fixed. This place is deceitful and money hungry. Please find a better place to live.

I would not recommend this apartment complex to my worst enemy. There is poor management amongst the establishment. It's a laissez-faire work environment with college students whom have minimal experience basically running the property. The roommate matching process is insufficient and inconsiderate of residents living in the unit. The walls in the apartment are so thin! I could literally hear someone else phone conversation from the apartment beneath me. Whenever they played their music I could... hear every lyric of the song as if the music was playing in my apartment. There's an endless list of what's wrong with this property. Theft, drugs, incompetent management, the gym is NEVER open, the EXIT GATE NEVER CLOSES, the computers that are supposed to be for the use of residents has been "Under construction" for well over a few months(theres only 3 PC's). Dont let their nice demeanor fool you into moving into this place. Theres better places to live around columbus, ga.

Do not move into this apartment complex. The management here is taking advantage of the college students here. The property manager has a very nasty attitude and the rest of the staff knows nothing about running an apartment complex. The overage bills are excessive and nobody knows why it is so high. When you ask questions, they get defensive and give you the run around.
