missing information and customer service
I scheduled a tour for my 79-year-old mother over the phone. The representative I spoke with was polite and helpful. However, during the actual appointment, my mother was asked detailed questions about her income and was ultimately unable to tour the facility due to a miscalculation on her part. This was very disappointing and reflects poor organizational management.
As her power of attorney, all financial matters should be addressed directly with me, not her. Additionally, I was not informed... in advance that the property was a tax-credit community with specific income requirements. This is important information that should have been clearly explained during the initial phone call. Proper communication upfront would have saved both time and unnecessary stress.
