missing information and customer service

I scheduled a tour for my 79-year-old mother over the phone. The representative I spoke with was polite and helpful. However, during the actual appointment, my mother was asked detailed questions about her income and was ultimately unable to tour the facility due to a miscalculation on her part. This was very disappointing and reflects poor organizational management.

As her power of attorney, all financial matters should be addressed directly with me, not her. Additionally, I was not informed… in advance that the property was a tax-credit community with specific income requirements. This is important information that should have been clearly explained during the initial phone call. Proper communication upfront would have saved both time and unnecessary stress.

Don’t waste your time!

This property is managed by Gateway Management Company. They manage properties in several states. Read the reviews for this company before applying. The reviews are from the tenants and employees. The Agape Senior complex was scheduled to open last October. There may be serious problems with these apartments because they have yet to open as of this date. 4/28/2025. Rumors are they have failed building inspections and have yet to receive any occupancy permits. SENIORS BE AWARE!!
