    Don’t Be Fooled by the First Impression

    At first glance, these apartments seem decent — modern silver appliances, granite countertops, and a clean-looking interior that’ll probably win you over during the initial walk-through. But the longer you stay, the more you realize how poorly the renovation was done. There are cracks in the flooring, missing screws, no window screens, and the finishing in general is just sloppy.

    After a year, I knew I didn’t want to renew, but I was basically cornered into staying. Now, with my new lease about    … to start, I feel even more frustrated than before. The issues have only gotten worse: roaches, a broken AC that barely gets fixed, kids constantly fighting outside, and frequent police presence. This place is a huge letdown.
